It's funny how the U.S. Board of Education system lacks sufficient teaching and curriculum based upon the history of black people. Not only in this country, but in countries throughout the world. In this section, I exhibit my self-educated growth in learning about my history and what I think of we as a people in today's modern society. This is me being socially-conscious to the fullest.

It's safe to say that I've been on a rodeo the past six years when dealing with relationships. I won't get too personal here, but this section specifically details my trials and tribulations through failed attempts at love. Moreover, each poem is dedicated to a specific other that I shared moments with at one point or another during my youth. And from those same experiences, I have grown immensely as a result.
